The Tbilisi TV tower and other symbols of the Georgian capital lit up with the colors of the Italian flag as a sign of support and solidarity with Italy in the fight against the new coronavirus.

Georgain Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani responded to the display, saying “support and commitment can lead us out of the crisis.”

The latest data shows that there are 63,927 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Italy. 6,078 people have died from the virus in the country.
